December Ministerium: Recognizing the Divine in Everyday Life

December Ministerium: Recognizing the Divine in Everyday Life

Join us for the December Ministerium on Wednesday, December 15th, at 10:00 am via Zoom (access info below).

We will be joined by Mary Jackson, a licensed pastoral counselor and member of St. Paul’s Westminster. Mary was part of our November meeting because she is involved with Quechua Benefit, the organization devoted to helping the indigenous people in the Peruvian highlands.

Mary has interesting spiritual and professional journeys, like many of us in the UCC. She has been a clinical dental assistant, a trainer of dental assistants, a developer of training materials and trainer for Marriott Corporation, and a pastoral counselor. Her spiritual journey includes Episcopalian churches, Quaker meetings, and currently Marty’s church.

She brings interesting perspectives on church and ministry and is the author of Presence: Recognizing the Divine in Everyday Life. Written from a lay perspective, it offers a path to discovering how the divine can be encountered each day. She will be leading online groups through the book beginning early in 2022. For more information, visit her Web site at https://www.presenceeveryday.com/.

So, in the midst of what may be a rushed and chaotic Advent season, join us for some discussion about refocusing our lives and ministries! See you on the 15th.
